from Kolkata, at Haldia, West Bengal, India. It is a
prestigious joint venture project having the
Government of West Bengal, The Chatterjee
Group, the Tatas, Indian Oil Corporation and
others as major stakeholders. Haldia
Petrochemicals Ltd. has entered into an MoU
with the Government of Andra Pradesh to set
up Crude to Chemicals refinery cum
petrochemical complex in an area of 2500 acres
in Kakinada Industrial Park.

company. It was originally incorporated as a
company under the Indian Companies Act 1913
GAIL (India) Limited is India’s largest natural gas
company and ranked among the top gas utilities
in Asia. HPCL-GAIL Consortium has entered into
a MoU with Government of Andra Pradesh to
set up an Ethane based Petrochemical complex
in an area of 2000 acres in Kakinada Industrial
Park.
A large Indian Fertilizer company
Set up in 1979 as an Ammonia manufacturer, the
company today is a publicly listed, and a multi-
product Indian conglomerate with an annual
turnover of over half a billion USD with a product
portfolio spanning industrial chemicals, bulk and
